Photographer Sessions 

For all our photography enthusiasts, we are so excited to offer photography sessions again this year on Wednesday & Thursday, August 20th & 21st! This is a perfect opportunity to come to our farm to take your family, engagement, senior, professional photography in the evening hours. Participants will book photography sessions for 2.25 hours (6:00-8:15 pm). We are limiting photo sessions to allow space for each participant (1 photo session=1 photographer).  We ask for your honesty in booking sessions. Each photographer can book several mini sessions with different clients during the 2.25-hour session. But if you are a photographer booking several mini sessions, it will be your responsibility to space apart each family so that not all families are there at the same time. Schuster's Farm is not responsible for bringing your clients out to you in the fields. So please plan accordingly and set a timer so that you do not lose track of time. Use of props is okay, if all props are cleaned up and taken out at the end of each session. No glitter or confetti is allowed. 

Photo sessions are $180.25(inc booking fee)/ 2.25 hrs. Photo sessions are not per person/family, just per evening. Participants must be off the grounds when the 2.25 hour interval is done at 8:15 pm. Participants staying past 8:15 pm will be charged another session fee of $175. 

Please note that all of our photography policies still apply, in terms of care of our land and of our flower plants. If we deem that participants are not caring for our land or our plants in acceptable ways, we reserve the right to end your session, without refunds.

Please note that we cannot guarantee perfect weather conditions or bloom time. These dates are selected because this is when our fields are generally in the best bloom. It varies from year to year. When you book a session, you understand that there is no guarantee for the condition of blooms. When you book a session, there are no refunds under any circumstances. If you cancel for any reason, we do not offer refunds. We do not offer refunds in case of inclement weather. Rain date is Wednesday, August 27, 2025. We do not guarantee any specific or assigned spots on the farm during sessions. We ask that all participants be mindful of other sessions going on during your session. Each photographer is responsible for their clients and their clients' children.

Photography reservations include access to the flower fields only. It does not include access to any other farm areas (animals, playground, buildings, etc.). This is the greatest difficulty we have with photography sessions. Please make clear to your clients that access is for the fields only because the rest of the farm is not open or staffed. Photographers are welcome during our regular business hours, if photos with our animals or in the playground and building areas is desired.

Please do not arrive before 5:45. This allows you time to arrive and scope out the field before your 6:00 clients arrive. Staying past your time will result in being charged for additional time.

Additional Information

• Lighting, props, and leashed, friendly dogs (only if involved in pictures) are allowed. If there is another pet, you or a client would like to bring, please contact us for approval prior to arrival.
• Your reservation is for (1) photographer. If you have a second shooter, you will need to purchase an additional reservation space. Assistants are permitted to help you with props, outfit changes, etc. so long as they are not taking photos as well.
• Schuster's Farm reserves the right to remove any photographers or clients, whose guests or pets cause a disturbance or are deemed unruly, without refund.

Another option: 

During our regular open hours, we welcome professional and amateur photographers. Photographer and guests must pay full admission. Photo shoots may not impede any opportunities for all guests to enjoy the farm. Photos may only be taken of clients, not other farm guests. Photos may only be taken in the public areas open to all guests and not in other areas of the farm. Solicitation for future clients is not allowed.  Many, many photographers have captured wonderful pictures in the fields while we are open.
